ASHISH JAIN
Ashish Jain is the founder and COO of AK Group in Kuwait. He has over 30 years of experience in the civil and construction industry alone. He has set up businesses in multiple fields in the last 15 years, including but not limited to, Education, FMCG, F&B, Healthcare, Trading & Contracting, Information Technology as part of the AK Group.
Ashish’s core field is Civil Engineering, which he studied when he attended Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai. However, after his initial years working in the field, he switched his focus more towards sales & marketing roles. He worked as part of different industries in India, New Zealand, UAE and Kuwait allowing him to gain experience and connections in various countries mainly in the APAC and MENA regions.
His experience in these areas has allowed him to build a wide network within the region across varied industries and has given him the chance to be fluent in Arabic, English, Hindi along with being conversational in Punjabi and rusty but comprehensible in Tamil
As a Group CEO for City Group Co., Kuwait, Dheeraj is leading the digital and green transformation agenda of public transport/ mobility. Prior to this, he was co-founder of Arnab Mobility, a micro-mobility start-up in UAE. Recently, he led the launch of Demand Responsive Transport service “Citylink Shuttle” across Kuwait
Played a major role in the development of India’s Supercomputer PARAM. Developed Innovation Strategy for $25 bn Crossrail project in London and award-winning “Dubai Innovation Index”.
As a digital & innovation strategy consulting lead of PwC, Dheeraj has developed several transformational strategies for Roads and Transport Authority in Middle East such as Innovation Strategy, Marine PPP model, Automated Fare Collection (AFC) strategies.
Dheeraj holds a PhD in Computing Science from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and MBA from Imperial College London, UK. Recipient of two Young Scientist Awards from the Government of India for his innovations.

Imran is a graduate of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He currently works with KPMG in Kuwait as a Director in the Deal Advisory team where he heads KPMG’s Government & Infrastructure practice in the country. He advises government and private clients on infrastructure, strategy, feasibility studies, business plans, and restructuring. Previously, Imran has worked with Air India in their Strategy & Planning team.
Mridumesh is a passionate Fashion Retail professional, who seems himself into Consumer Psychographic Business.
Has 2.5 decades of professional journey across retail of fashion and food and manufacturing. On the way he worked on Strategy, Customer Connect, Operations, Merchandising, and P&L ownership. His stints span across international brands like Next UK, GAP, The Children’s Place, Debenhams, Florsheim and Indian ones like Ruosh, Park Avenue & Globus has provided him exposure across Indian, European, and American markets.
An MBA alumnus of IIM Calcutta and IE, Madrid Spain, Mridumesh did his B.Tech from NIT, Jalandhar.
